Fun in the Sun

Look at that smile! Emma loves to get right in front of the camera and pose!

Of course five minutes later, this was her pose:

Caleb just likes to be a big jokester in front of the camera, either hiding, or being silly.

Now this pool was really made for just one baby, but here they are all squished in together!


Sarah had a little diver that she likes to play with...or just to throw in the dirt and put in her mouth.

And of course Misha had to be there checking out all the fun. She thought they were just giant water bowls!

Since it was so incredibly HOT today, the kids decided that it would be a great time to go in the pool. Not a big pool, just a little plastic one that we bought last year. (Actually, we were buying it last year while I was in labor with Sarah. Yup, first stop was Sears to get a barbeque, next stop was Wal-Mart for a pool, and final stop was the hospital to pick up a baby! Quite a busy day April 2nd was last year!)

Not sure what she was surprised by, but look at those blue eyes!

A neighbor was giving away a tiny little pool and the kids picked it up and said it would be perfect for Sarah, so we took it and gave it a try today. At first she was a bit apprehensive, but before long, she was splashing and moving around just like in the bathtub. As I sat out there watching them I had visions of my future this summer....sitting at arm's length next to Sarah all day long as she splashes in the pool.
